Do You Have Too Many Balls in the Air?

Many successful small business owners reach a stage where they feel they have too many different things going on.  Some say they have “too many balls in the air.”  Does this apply to you?

What does that really mean?  Often it means:

>  The business owner has successfully grown his business to the limit of his time capacity

>  The business owner started too many projects but didn’t finish enough

>  The business owner their lost focus on their vision

In many cases the business owner built their business to a certain level based on pure determination and grit, but found it is really hard to get beyond that level.  That is because a new set of skills are needed to reach that new level.

The good news is it can be done!  Kids learn to walk even though they fall down a lot.  We can do this too.

One way to start is write a very clear vision of where you want the business to go.  What do you want to achieve?  It doesn’t have to be fancy and clever—it just needs to be clear.  Next you need to build the processes and systems around achieving your vision through small steps.  Finally, you need to organize your time in blocks to actually get those necessary processes in place.

What is your vision?  Do you need help organizing your time to realize your vision?  I’m here to answer any questions you may have.
